There's a new yarn shoppe in town (http://phebies.com) - and it's heaven on earth!... It's in the "packing house" in the Claremont Village - upstairs... I hadn't been to the new addition to the Village since it opened last summer - and it's incredible! There's an art gallery downstairs, a children's art gallery/class, a children's "Young Chef Academy" (http://www.youngchefsacademy.com) and SO much more!...

Yarn, fabric, art, bead and paper shops are all dangerous places for me. We have a wonderful one up the street and even though I don't knit or really crochet I can use yarn for other things (packaging, etc.) That's really cool they offer classes to kids:)
Thanks for the tip. I'm visiting from out of town and it was fun to find the local yarn shop. It was as good as you said. But it's a little hard to find! IN the building, UP the stairs, THROUGH the dark hallway ... It was like going on a treasure hunt!
